Paroo Street

During initial surveys at Paroo Street in 2016 the northern section (site A) contained black box trees, lignum, common reed, samphire and smooth heliotrope. The southern section (site B) contained non-local eucalyptus, KI tea tree, cooba, lignum, common reed, smooth heliotrope, and variable groundsel.

Environmental water is delivered as a drip line at this site, targeting outcomes for native vegetation. Water has been delivered for three out of the past four years and there has been significant growth of native plants at the site and in adjacent areas on floodplain.
